English Module: Procedural Text for Culinary Major

On this occasion, I want to share an English learning module. This module is devoted to culinary majors, but can also be used for other general majors.

REAL

REAL stands for Ramadan English for Acehnese Learners. This is a seminar held by the campus organization (EDSA). This seminar is held for 3 days with different themes every day.

ACEH-JAPAN COMMUNITY ART PROJECT

Aceh-Japan Community Art Project 2018 is an art exhibition held at the Banda Aceh Tsunami Museum. This activity was held for 10 days from 16-26 December 2018.

          I started making blog when I was in high school. Back then, I liked writing short stories and I wanted to publish them on my blog. I tried to design my blog as creative as I could and most importantly decided the feel of my blog. As the time went, I kept on changing its design. There was a time when my blog used allblack themes in order to make the feel from the entries I wrote. Some other time it got really nice with a flower background.  But for how on, I try to make it as cozy it can be for reading.

The advantages I get from having the blog:

• Blog helps me to improve my writing skills. When I start making blog, I will write things which needed for my blog. It usually depends on what the blog is about. As for myself, I like to write random things that come to my mind or any other things that interest me.
• Blog helps me to increase my knowledge in different field. Since my blog talks about a lot of things-random things and what interest me- I believe it will gain my knowledge in order to give information for my writing.
• Blog is a good therapy for my mind. When my mind gets complicated, writing becomes one of the ways for me to release the stress. It helps me relax and clears my mind.
• Changes my attitude towards life. I believe by having blog, I can start seeing everything in different way. It also changes me to be an open-minded person. It forces me to read and get more information in order to gain more knowledge for subjects that I am writing on. 

The steps I choose in designing my blog:

• Deciding what my blog will be about. The reason why I start blogging is because I want to share my thoughts and experiences. So my blog will be about me and other things that interest me. 
• Designing my blog. First thing first, I choose a name and domain name for my blog. Second, I set the theme, background, and feel of my blog. Last, choose the plugins that I want for my blog.
